2. Padua International Excellence Scholarship

Eligibility –
- If you meet these requirements, you will be automatically considered for the selection procedure. There is no separate application or additional specific documents to be submitted besides those required to apply for the selected degree programme.
- Selection criteria: the Academic Commitee of each degree programme shortlists eligible applicants and awards the most deserving candidates the scholarships, based on academic excellence in their field of study, quality, and records from their prior learning.
- Selection results: Scholarships are reserved for candidates applying for the first application period; on an exceptional basis, the Academic Committees may decide to award the scholarship to eligible candidates of the second application period.
- Scholarships selection results will be published at www.unipd.it/en/assessement-resultsaccording to the timeline indicated in the Call for applications.

3. Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation MAECI

- PhD Programmes: not over 30 years
- Research Projects under academic supervision: not over 40 years.
- Language requirements:
- Italian-taught courses: B2 level (CEFR)

5. MAECI scholarships

Eligibility –
- Come from the foreign eligible countries. The list of eligible countries is available in the Grant section (bottom of the page)hold an appropriate academic qualification required to enroll to the Italian University/Institute (more information on: https://studyinitaly.esteri.it/en/Recognition-of-qualification )not be over 28 years of age by the deadline of the call
- Provide a certificate of their Italian language level (the minimum level required is B2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) , in order to enroll in an Italian-taught course. Candidates who were enrolled to an Italian language course at the University may submit a language certification issued by a language teacher of the University department
- Provide a certificate of their English Language level, with a minimum required level equal to B2 within the CEFR. Proof of proficiency in Italian is not required for courses entirely taught in English. Self-certification may be valid for candidates from countries where English is an official language and who are applying for courses held entirely in English.
