Eligibility –
- Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be assessed based on academic achievement, and evaluation of the applicants’ potential to contribute to the overall Trinity community.
Amount –
- Award: Scholarships valued between €2000 to €5000 each, applied as a reduction to the tuition fees of a full-time postgraduate programme for the first year of study only.

- Trinity Offer Letter (Applicants must have receive a conditional or firm offer of a place in a Trinity postgraduate course).
- 200 word statement on “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community.” – submit in Microsoft word document or pdf format.
- CV/Resume.
- You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship request.
- Your Regional Officer will inform you if you’ve been selected for a scholarship and will inform you of the process to formally accept the scholarship.

3. Atlantic Technological University (Non EU Scholarship)

Eligibility –
- If you are a Non-EU student thinking of applying to study in ATU then you may qualify for a scholarship in recognition of your English language attainment, your country of origin, or both.
Amount –
- Scholarships are available for Non-EU students giving up to a 15% discount off the quoted fee.

4. National College of Ireland (Masters Academic Merit Scholarships)

Eligibility –
- There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.
Amount –
- €3,000 Scholarship
- Awarded to applicants with a Bachelor Honours Degree with an overall result between 60% and 74.99% (or equivalent)
- €5,000 Scholarship
- Awarded to applicants with a Bachelor Honours Degree with an overall result of 75% or above (or equivalent)

5. National College of Ireland (Higher Diploma Scholarship)

6. Business Postgraduate Merit Scholarships

Eligibility –
- To be considered for the merit-based scholarship, applicants must be accepted to their chosen programme, pay an acceptance deposit and have achieved a H1/first class honours (or international equivalent) in their undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) by the dates outlined on our website.
- Please note that only offer holders who are not already in receipt of funding/financial support from an employer are deemed eligible for this scholarship.
- A selection committee will assess the eligible scholarship applications based on Merit and/or review of the personal statement.
- Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the Scholarship within the specified timeline. If we do not receive a response, we will consider that the candidate does not wish to accept the scholarship. Acceptance of the scholarship must be made via email and (if available) proof of application for a study visa.
- Our Scholarships are awarded in the form of a partial tuition fee waiver. A scholarship letter will then be generated and available from the application portal (in the supporting documentation section). The scholarship amount is then deducted from the tuition fee applicable for year 1 of the taught Master’s programme. This scholarship is a one-off partial tuition fee waiver, it is not a cash award, and no cash payment will be made by the University.
- Scholarships that are not utilised will be reallocated – therefore candidates must advise businesspostgrad@universityofgalway.ie if they are not using the scholarship award so that the scholarship can be awarded to the next ranked successful candidate.

7. The George J. Mitchell Scholarship

- You are between 18 and 30 years old on 1 October in the year in which you are applying; and
- You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university before beginning study as a Mitchell Scholar. Degrees from international accredited universities are acceptable if all other conditions are met.
- Although married applicants or applicants with partners are accepted, no allowance is made for the expenses of an applicant’s spouse, partner, or dependents. It is important to note that, to obtain the necessary visa or residency permit, the relevant government agency in Ireland or Northern Ireland may require spouses/partners, who are non-EU citizens, to prove financial resources for the year.

- Successful candidates will receive their scholarship in the form of a tuition fee waiver. The value of this tuition fee waiver will be €1,500 for postgraduate taught programmes and €2,000 for undergraduate programmes applicable to year 1 of the programme.

11. Scholarships for International Students (The College of Science and Engineering)

Eligibility –
- All candidates meeting the eligibility criteria who accept their offer and submit their deposit by Saturday, 1 June 2024, will be automatically considered. However, Computer Science applicants from the calendar year 2023 must adhere to a special deadline of Sunday, 17 March 2024 with no exceptions.
Amount –
- For international applicants, several excellence scholarships are available up to €10,000 and merit scholarships are available up to €7,640.

12. Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships
