If you have been planning your higher studies in Ireland, you may have several questions in mind on studying and living there. This section answers some common questions that students may have in mind.

 

Yes, they do accept 10+2+3 education pattern for master’s programs.

Yes, you can work while studying in Ireland. Most Irish universities allow 20 hours week when an academic session is in progress whereas they can work 40 hours during holidays, especially in May, June, July, and August. After the completion of study, the students can work for 24 months on PSW.

An international student can earn a minimum wage of € 10-12 per hour in tier 1 cities such as Cork and Dublin and € 8-9 in tier 2 cities such as Limerick.

Yes, you can apply for a PR after living in Ireland for 5 years. As a student, you can work in Ireland for maximum of 24 months on Post Study Work Permit. Your academic credentials and work experience will help you gain easy PR.

Not all the universities accept MOI. We would suggest you to write to the University and check for the same.
