How to Apply to Universities in Singapore

The application process for undergraduate and graduate programs in Singapore is much simpler than other countries. However, it must be done carefully in given deadlines. The following are common steps for application.

  2. Visit the university websites to learn about the program, its requirements, eligibility criterion and deadlines for application.
  3. Alternately, you can also check the website of Admissions Office for International Students.
  4. Apply for the course on the website of the university or college. Unlike other countries, there is no centralized admission process in Singapore.
  5. Download the application form from the website and fill it out carefully with all the necessary information. Submit all required documents along with the form.
  6. Submit the proof of funds along with the application form.
  7. You will receive an acceptance letter within a few weeks. This letter is usually known as In-Principal Approval and you can use it to apply for a student VISA to Singapore.
