Semester 3/T3

Late October/early November through to February: It is also called trimester three (T3) or the summer semester. A limited number of universities in Australia offer courses and programs during this trimester.

  • Duration: This trimester is shorter than other semesters, with a duration of 6-12 weeks.
  • Course Availability: The range of courses available in this semester is limited. Some universities offer only a select number of courses. Some of these courses, such as internships or short courses, may not be available in other semesters.
  • Flexibility: Trimester 3 allows students to complete their degree sooner, either by accelerating their degree or catching up on missed coursework.
  • Intensive Courses: Trimester 3 courses are condensed and intensive, covering significant material in a shorter period.
