SCOPE OF CONDITIONS

These conditions govern all services provided by Collegepond Counsellors Private Limited (hereafter referred to as “The Company” or “Collegepond”). By signing the registration form, the customer/student acknowledges having read and agreed to these conditions. Any agreements differing from these conditions must be in writing and signed by an authorized officer of Collegepond.

BEST EFFORT BASIS

Collegepond does not guarantee specific results but assists customers/students in achieving their academic and career objectives. Past results represent the Company’s capabilities but should not be construed as guarantees of future success. Collegepond works in the best interest of its students on a Best Effort basis

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AND AI USAGE

Collegepond strictly prohibits plagiarism, copying, and the misuse of AI-generated content. The company holds no responsibility for identifying plagiarized or AI-generated work in essay writing. Collegepond accepts no liability if the customer faces denial of admission due to plagiarism, copying, or unauthorized use of AI content by the student. Students are urged to ensure that all submissions are their original work and comply with academic integrity standards.

DEADLINES

Collegepond is not responsible if the student does not adhere to deadlines as agreed upon from time to time. The applications are time-bound, and it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the applications are submitted within the prescribed deadline. SOP and LOR questionnaires and resumes MUST be submitted to us at least 15 days prior to your university deadlines to avoid last-minute hassles. We do not guarantee the completion of your documents before the deadline if you approach us at the last moment. Failure to do so may result in the deadline not being met.

COPYWRITING

Collegepond does not write essays, recommendations, and resumes for its customers/students. However, the Company shall assist and guide its customers/students in brainstorming, scripting, and presenting their strengths in essays, recommendations, and resumes in a clear and effective manner. Collegepond is not responsible if any customer/student applies directly to the University/School/College without updating Collegepond and submits an incomplete application to the University/School/College.

UNIVERSITY SELECTION

Collegepond will propose and suggest to its customers/students to apply from the list of University/School/College as provided by the Company for the best interest of its customers/students. It is the customer’s/student’s responsibility to research the University/School/College and determine whether it is a “good fit”. The Company does not take any responsibility if the customer/student applies to any other University/School/College outside the proposed list provided by the Company.

COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS

Completion of application forms will only be undertaken by the Collegepond application counselor for students who have selected the Premium package. It is the student’s responsibility to conduct a final review of the application form before submission, ensuring its accuracy. The Company does not take any responsibility if there are any inconsistencies in the submission of the application forms

For students who have selected the LITE, Plus or Pro Package, the counselor will assist with application doubts in the forms but not fill the forms personally.

COLLEGEPOND STUDENTS APPLYING TO OUR PARTNER UNIVERSITIES

For applications processed through our agent portal, the assigned counselors will complete these applications on behalf of the student once all required documents are received. The scholarship amount will be determined based on the counseling package chosen and will be disbursed upon submission of the visa copy before departure from India, first semester’s transcript from the partner university, and other necessary documents on the portal applied within 90 days of submission. This is contingent on the student being assigned or credited to Collegepond in the agent’s portal.

FINANCES

Collegepond does not directly prepare any financial documents for its customers or students. However, we do provide assistance to students in preparing these documents. The Company is not responsible for generating financial resources to pursue education. The Company will suggest to its customers/students a list of prominent Banks & NBFCs from where the customers/students can get their desired finances and facilitate the loan acquisition and disbursement process subject to fulfilling the requirements of the financer/lender. Collegepond does not guarantee that a lender will sanction the loan.

VISA GUIDANCE

Collegepond offers guidance to help customers and students prepare for the visa process for their respective countries. While the company has maintained a high success rate in assisting with visa applications over the past decade, it cannot guarantee visa approval and assumes no responsibility if a visa application is denied

APPLICATION FEES

All incidental expenses related to the application process such as University Application Fees, Test Preparation Exam Fees, and Score Submissions, Courier Charges, Solvency Letter costs, Loan Processing Fees, etc., will be borne by the customer/student.

DEFAULTED PAYMENTS

Collegepond reserves the right to terminate services if the customer/student does not pay as agreed at the time of registration. Collegepond is not liable for any consequences or damages resulting from the termination of services.

REFUND POLICY

Collegepond will provide a refund in accordance with the following schedule should the customer decide to terminate services If a refund is requested within 48 hours of enrollment, the full amount will be refunded. However, for refund requests made after 48 hours, Collegepond will retain a minimum amount of Rs. 15,000 + GST, regardless of whether any services have been utilized to cover the services included in the complete package. The refund amount will be calculated based on the total cost of the package at the time of enrollment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR DEFERRAL

If the customer/student initiated the application process but did not apply to any school and decides to defer, counseling services will continue without any additional charges provided it is the same course/field.
If the customer/student has completed SOP drafting process and decided to defer his decision to the following year, Collegepond will charge up to 50% of the fees for the services that are duplicated.
If the customer/student has received admit/s and decided to defer his decision to the following year, Collegepond will charge up to 75% of the fees for the services that are duplicated.
If the customer/student does not adhere to the university selection list provided by Collegepond and applies to his selected universities (i.e., only to ambitious and super-ambitious schools) and does not receive admission and requires Collegepond’s assistance in university selection, drafting SOP, LOR, Resume, etc., Collegepond will charge 75% of the fees for the services that are duplicated.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CONDUCTING THE EDUCATION ABROAD APPLICATION PROCESS

To prepare students for pursuing education abroad, we strongly recommend that the application process be conducted exclusively with the student. Family members may ask for periodic updates and guidance concerning finances, documentation, etc.

POLICY ON PACKAGE ENROLLMENT AND PROGRAM TYPE FOR MBA AND MASTERS STUDENTS

A student who has enrolled in a package cannot shift to another package other than moving to a higher package. MBA packages are different from Masters packages. Should a student wish to apply to an MBA school, they will be required to avail of an MBA package, and the package pricing will be discussed accordingly.

DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR

Any use of profanity or disrespectful language/behavior towards Collegepond employees will be considered sufficient grounds for termination of services without any refund.

Collegepond Counsellors Private Limited reserves all rights to make any changes in the policy. Students will be notified of any updates or modifications as necessary.
