Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for the scholarship applicants must:

  • be a prospective international student for a coursework degree at Deakin University
  • be eligible to study at Deakin University
  • have achieved at least a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.
  • All criteria must be met.

Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive, and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements.

 

Amount: This scholarship is available for the normal duration of your course. 25% of your student contributions (tuition fees)

You are required to submit:

  • a completed Deakin International Scholarship Program application form
  • a personal statement (300 words)
  • a completed application to study at Deakin including academic transcripts.
  • Your personal statement must be written by you and reflect your personal views. It should contain:
  • an outline of why you want to study at Deakin University
  • an overview of any extracurricular activities and work experience (paid or voluntary) you have undertaken
  • why you think you would make an outstanding ambassador for Deakin University
  • any other information that will assist your application.
  • You may also be asked to attend an interview.

Eligibility: Scholarship criteria

  • Be a prospective international student
  • Be eligible to study in Australia
  • Not have accepted any other UniSA scholarship or bursary
  • Meet normal degree admission requirements for the degree applied into
  • Have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a credit average (Grade Point Average (GPA) 5.0) or above in previous studies or have an offer conditional upon completion of an award with a Credit average
  • Meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the degree applied into or have an offer conditional upon meeting the English language entry requirement.
  • You will automatically be assessed when applying for an eligible undergraduate (Bachelor) or postgraduate (Masters by Coursework) degree offered at UniSA

 

Amount: Recipients will receive a 15% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for the duration of their chosen degree.

Swinburne International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship

Eligibility: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for an international scholarship, you must:

  • be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible)
  • not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne
  • satisfy any course or scholarship-specific entry requirements.

 

Amount: You could receive up to 30 per cent off your tuition for the duration of your course, depending on your GPA (or equivalent)

Further criteria may apply. Students who are studying the Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) or Master of Science (Network Systems) are eligible to receive A$2500 off their tuition.

 

Application Process: When you apply for a Swinburne course, we automatically consider you for an international scholarship – no separate application required! Just apply for your Swinburne course of choice and when we review your course application, we will also assess you for an international scholarship.

Amount: As a scholarship recipient, you will receive $10,000 per annum for the duration of your degree.

  • You must submit a separate application form for this scholarship (due dates below).
  • Before applying for this scholarship, you must have received a full Monash course offer with no conditions.
  • Can be deferred within the same calendar year only.
  • Do not submit supporting documentation with your application – this will not be considered.

Eligibility: The scholarship is available to a commencing ANU student who:

  • is defined as an overseas student under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and does not hold a 995 visa (unless enrolling in an eligible postgraduate program); and
  • has received an offer of admission to commence at the University in an eligible program (excluded programs listed above); and
  • meets the conditions of the program for which they have received an offer of admission including the requirement to be onshore for some components (if applicable); and
  • has not received the scholarship previously for the same level of study.

 

Amount: 25% or 50% fee waiver of tuition for entire study period

Eligibility: The award is available each year to prospective or current ANU students who:

  • are domestic or international students;
  • are enrolled in or have completed EMSC1006 or EMSC1008 (undergraduate applicants);
  • are enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program offered by the Research School of Earth Sciences; and
  • demonstrate difficulties which require financial assistance to commence, continue and/or complete their studies. Difficulties may include, but are not limited to, financial stress, remote location, family issues, mental health issues, disability or extended illness.

Students are permitted to apply for and hold the award on more than one occasion.

 

Amount: Variable

 

Application Process:

  • Applications for commencing students are called for with a closing date as set by the Research School of Earth Sciences and advertised on the ANU scholarships website.
  • Continuing students may apply at any time.
  • The application should be forwarded to the Research School of Earth Sciences by email (see section 16 – conditions of award) prior to the closing date (for commencing students).
